Sales 1:1 agenda template
Most sales 1:1s turn into a status read-out. This agenda keeps the 30 minutes on the deals that moved, or should have.
The 30-minute agenda
- Wins and changes since last week (5 min). Closed deals, new deals, anything that jumped a stage.
- Slipped close dates (8 min). For each deal whose close date moved out: what changed, who decides, what's the next dated step?
- Stalled deals (7 min). Deals with no update in 14+ days: revive it, re-date it, or close it lost.
- Shrunk or moved-back deals (5 min). What made the amount drop or the stage go back? Is the forecast still right?
- Commit for this month (3 min). Which deals is the rep committing, and what has to be true for each?
- One thing the manager will do (2 min). An intro, an exec call, a pricing approval.

Commit this month (deal, amount, what must be true):
Manager action:Questions that work
- "What did the buyer do last week?" (not "how's the deal?")
- "If this closes next month instead, what's the reason?"
- "Who else has to say yes?"
To prepare, run a quick weekly pipeline review first.
